Welcome
to the boogeyman's home away from home. The
Myers House - North Carolina is a life-size replica of
the infamous Michael Myers house from John Carpenter's HALLOWEEN.

Also, our friends over at Swank Cake Design
in Cary NC who have made some amazing cakes for Myers House NC events
will be appearing on TLC's Ultimate Cake Off this coming Monday,

And
thank you to everyone who has already RSVP'd for the premiere screening
of "JUDITH" coming up in March - we already have over
50 people planning to attend the premiere! So thanks for the support,
and for those of you who haven't RSVP'd and want to find out more
info about the screening, check out the EVENTS

And finally, the JUDITH posters are in! UPS has been scared to drive
down my driveway because of the snowpocalypse here in the NC or
maybe just because it's The Myers House ;) But anyway, if you're
interested in owning one or both of these beautifully creepy posters,
send a message to kenny@myershousenc.com.
All posters measure 11"X17" and are professionally printed
on 100lb gloss paper. There are only 50 of each poster, so act fast!!!

HAPPY
NEW YEAR!
posted
on Wednesday, December 30, 2009
I
hope everyone had a great Christmas holiday. I know we did here
at the house - this whole past year has been amazing and definitely
one to remember. I feel like I've grown so much this year and I'm
looking forward to another exciting year in 2010!
Since everyone has been really busy over the holiday break, we didn't
have enough time to put together the final trailer for "JUDITH,"
but it should be up in the next couple of weeks, and the film itself
is still in its final stages of completion. We're looking at premiering
it at the end of February or sometime in March. It all depends on
the venue and its availability. More info COMING SOON!!
Also, the website has been completely updated at this point, but
I'm still looking to put more information in the Original
section. The first of the Century House interviews with Carol Zorn
has been posted, but it's been hard to get others to participate
in these interviews so far - I think everyone is just sick of talking
about the house over the past 30+ years. But I'll keep trying to
contact more people and we'll see what happens. In the meantime,
if anyone has visited the original house in South Pasadena or attended
one of our events here at the NC house and would like to see your
pictures on the website - please send them to kenny@myershousenc.com.
HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone and best of luck in 2010!
JUDITH
UPDATE
posted
on Tuesday, December 1, 2009
Greetings
friends and Happy Holidays from The Hillsborough Spookhouse! I just
wanted to give everyone a quick update on the progress of our HALLOWEEN
Tribute Short Film "JUDITH." The film is moving right
along - a very talented musician by the name of Steven
Padin is currently working on an original score for the film
that we are very excited about, and director Josh Hasty is nearly
done with editing! Josh is also in the middle of releasing his first
feature length film "A Mannequin In Static,"
which you can pre-order now on DVD at www.amannequininstatic.com.
Also, I wanted to address an assumption about "JUDITH"
that's been floating around out there. The storyline for the film
is NOT a prequel to John Carpenter's HALLOWEEN - it's a completely
original story written by myself that takes place on Halloween night
at The Myers House. Judith sadly doesn't have super fast hot sex
in our film and her boyfriend is nowhere to be seen. The idea of
this little short film was totally inspired by Judith's death scene
in her bedroom at her vanity from HALLOWEEN, so that's the only
thing you will see in Judith that will resemble the original movie.
We
are planning to release a full length trailer by Christmas, and
the completed film at the very beginning of the New Year. In the
meantime check out the Judith
teaser trailer if you haven't already and enjoy this image of
Michael Myers from "JUDITH" (played by Alex Fisher) in
the threshold of The Spookhouse!

WELCOME
BACK TO THE SPOOKHOUSE

Hey
Creeps, welcome to the new and super spooky Myers
House NC website! At this point there isn't really any new
info on the site, but over the next month or so I will be updating
everything - I really want to post more pictures and information
about the Original "Century House"
that's still standing in South Pasadena, California. My goal is
to interview individuals that have been involved with the house
over the years and post them on the site for everyone to read.
I will also be posting more updates about our HALLOWEEN Tribute
Film "JUDITH" that's currently
in post production. We are thrilled with how it's coming together
and can't wait until it's complete and out for everyone to see!
But in the meantime you can now view the official teaser trailer
for the short film in the Judith section
of the site.
Well I hope everyone digs the new look and please keep checking
back often for all things Spookhouse! And THANK YOU to everyone
that came out and attended our "1st Annual Halloween Bash"!
The weather held out and we were able to continue on with all of
the scheduled events for the evening. It was great fun and a huge
success for our first HALLOWEEN celebration at the house - we had
nearly 200 people come out to celebrate with us!
